A utility room is an added bonus for a home, but if you have the room it can be a really functional space that is not only useful but may increase the value of your home.Utility rooms are the perfect place to store all your house-keeping appliances and accessories without taking up space in other areas of the home, as well as a space to do your laundry. Most people have their utility room close to the kitchen, making it a suitable extension to house an extra freezer as well as washing machine or tumble drier. That said, you can have your utility room anywhere within the home, and generally it can be a great way to boost the value of your home too. Just be sure to consider whether or not you would like to have a sink and tap plumbed in as this will limit where you can have a utility room fitted.
