It’s one of those city breaks that your friends talk a lot about. That one neighbour who constantly throws back to their romantic getaway a few years back, before the kids came along, getting doughy-eyed after a few glasses of fizz round your house on a Friday night and now, at last, I understand why. Czechia (*pronounced Check-ee-a) or more commonly known as the Czech Republic, is socially unrecognisable and has broken free from the cloak of communist rule of years gone by.
