Sofas and chairs are a simple way to change the look of your living space and comfort is key, as is choosing the right style, so here are some ideas to help you buy the seating that is right for you.

Patricia McGinnis, founder of Belfast interiors boutique, Maven, gives us her advice when selecting new seating for your home; ‘When choosing seating, as well as considering a piece that looks great, make sure that it’s the right fit. How many people do you need to seat, will the piece work in your space (including getting it into your space), is the scale right? Really drill into size and scale as well as how it looks. Take the time to consider these things, in addition to how it looks, and you’ll be able to enjoy your piece for years to come.’
