Jacqueline Rooney’s home offers a refreshing departure from the subdued griege and grey schemes that have prevailed in interiors for the past two decades. She refers to it as ‘dopamine decorating’, emphasising how adding vibrant colours to your living space can evoke a sense of joy and positivity, similar to the effects of the hormone itself. ‘Grey and greige are equally as beautiful,’ she begins. ‘But I think after the pandemic, we’re all ready now to add some joy into our lives.
