Room With a View

Ian and Alice in Fermanagh wanted a contemporary kitchen that would make the most of their stunning views. Once they visited Robinson Interior’s showroom they knew that they were the company who could provide them with the perfect design to make their dream kitchen a reality.

‘Our previous kitchen was a very traditional cottage style,’ explains Alice. ‘It was already in the house when we bought it and there was plenty of storage, but overall it wasn’t as spacious as we would have ideally liked. The old kitchen just didn’t suit the way we lived and we wanted an open-plan space as we spend most of our time in the kitchen. We also have an amazing view and the design of the old kitchen just wasn’t making the most out of this.’

With all these factors in mind, the couple began some structural work which involved knocking some walls down to extend the kitchen and living area. A vaulted ceiling was also introduced with exposed beams to give the feel of a converted barn.
