Detailed Design

Simon and Janet knew that they wanted something special for their new build home in Moira. Step forward Parkes Interiors who were able to design a contemporary and stunning kitchen that suits the family’s needs perfectly.

‘Our previous kitchen was cherry wood. It was contemporary and had plain doors and slimline handles,’ recalls Janet. For their new home, the couple knew that they wanted another contemporary design and once they had decided on the kitchen company they could begin to create exactly what they wanted. So how did the couple decide on this kitchen company? ‘We researched all the kitchen companies in the area by buying and studying magazines like the All Ireland Kitchen Guide. Parkes Interiors stood out for us every time and every image that we both liked was a design from them. That made the decision on who to go with very simple.’

After a visit to the kitchen company, Janet and Simon knew that Parkes Interiors was the right choice to make their kitchen a reality. Janet continues, ‘Brian Parkes is a great designer. We gave him our ideas and he completely understood what we were looking for both in design and also functionality. We wanted another contemporary design but this time with white gloss and wood. It had to be streamlined with clear counters and incorporate a big island.’
