Streamlined Style

Marty and Ciarraigh wanted a contemporary kitchen for their new build Saintfield home. Step forward Wrights Design House who created a streamlined and modern kitchen with a striking lime green splash back.

Our previous kitchen was more traditional,’ explains Marty. ‘It was wooden with black granite with a six ring gas burner in the middle of the island which was in an L shape. Wrights Design House were recommended by the builder Kyle Garrett, the owner of Garrett Homes, so we went and had a chat with designer Glen in the showroom. We got a good vibe from him – he understood what we were thinking about and had great suggestions.’

A collaborative process then began with the couple and Wrights Design House designer Glen. ‘We didn’t have a specific design brief other than we knew that the kitchen needed to be enjoyable to cook in,’ says Marty.
