[dropcap style=”square”]T[/dropcap]he September issue of Ireland’s Homes Interiors & Living celebrates homes with character and creative craftsmanship. We visit a breathtaking coastal retreat perched above the Atlantic on Donegal’s Cruit Island, step inside Merchant’s House, a beautifully restored Georgian townhouse turned boutique guest house in Derry, and discover how a once-neglected cottage in Killala has been lovingly brought back to life. We also tour a Templepatrick bungalow that has been reimagined as a stylish contemporary family home, before travelling across the Atlantic to a Vermont holiday home where Irish roots and Norwegian heritage come together in a truly unique design.
As always, we’re delighted to showcase two stunning readers’ kitchens, proving that thoughtful design can transform the heart of any home. If you’re looking to improve your wellbeing, our bedroom feature explores how considered design choices can help create a more restful night’s sleep, while our seasonal cocktail recipes make the most of the final days of summer entertaining.
You’ll also find plenty of expert advice to inspire your next project, alongside our regular travel, gardening and cookery features to help you make the most of the season ahead. Whether you’re planning a renovation, searching for decorating ideas or simply taking a quiet moment with a cup of coffee, we hope this issue leaves you feeling inspired.
