We step inside this sleek, self-build on the shores of Belfast Lough which belongs to Matty and Tiffany Rea, both of whom have a keen interest in property and interior design.

Professional rugby player Matty and estate agent Tiffany spotted a bungalow for sale beside Belfast Lough and instantly had a vision for the home they could create here. ‘We originally intended to renovate the property, but ended up knocking it down and rebuilding it instead,’ explains Tiffany. ‘We purchased the house in October 2020 and immediately applied for planning permission to modernise the bungalow. In the meantime we consulted with our builders, and pricing what needed to be done, it made more sense financially to actually knock it down and rebuild it in the style we wanted.
