As an avid plant lover, one of the first plants I fell in love with was a Clematis Montana. Now I know that it has a terrible reputation as one of the most prolific and enthusiastic of the Clematis family.However, I was just developing my first garden in my first house and I found its abundance of flowers and its determined spirit very rewarding for a novice gardener. It spurred me on and gave me confidence to branch out (pun intended), to other climbers, hoping that they would reward me with the same prolific flowering.
