Beside the Seaside

Inspired by all things nautical, Carolina has turned this once dated terrace into an inspiring family home.

Having searched for some time for a home beside the sea in Dublin, Carolina happened upon this terrace cottage in her ideal location, a stone’s throw from the beach. Although it was in the perfect location the décor of the house was not to her taste, ‘all the rooms had dated wallpaper in them and there was carpet throughout, with the exception of the bathroom and the kitchen, and the place felt dull, dark and cramped,’ explains Carolina. With bags of creativity and fuelled by a love of interior design, Carolina could see that she could transform the house to make it stylish and homely for her and her two boys.
