Looking for a property that ticked all the right boxes proved to be a frustrating experience for primary school teacher Mona and her husband Rob, who works in IT. They were sale agreed five times over a three year period. ‘We looked at a mix of modern and older properties and even a site for a new build. Our luck finally changed with this Victorian terraced redbrick in Portobello, the sale actually closed without any problems’, explains Mona.
