Vintage Sparkle

A touch of tinsel, colour, and fun ensures this beautiful home shines bright for the festive season.

Katrina Carroll lives in this three-bedroom semi-detached house in Dublin with her husband, Adam, and their two little girls, Nainsi, who is nine, and Bonnie, who is six. ‘We bought our house in 2016, and from the moment we first saw it, I knew it had to be ours. The original stained glass door caught my eye immediately; it was such a special feature and gave me a sense of the history that I craved in a family home,’ explains Katrina. Although the house needed to be completely gutted, the couple could see the potential it held. They were excited by the idea of having a home with a bit of history – something that they could lovingly restore and make their own.
