Our dining room is where we spend most of our time during Christmas, so it’s important to get the mood right. To make a festive, eye catching piece of décor, a great trick is to hang a showstopping lampshade directly over the dining table so it doubles as a statement centerpiece. Then on the table and mantlepiece – everywhere you can – layer lots of candles in candelabras, with golden accessories, interspersed with green, pinks and red to set a warm and inviting mood. Everything looks better by candlelight.
