As with any room in the house, bathroom finishes are very important – not only do you want your bathrooms to look good, but they also need to be practical. Choosing to tile your walls and floor will help achieve these requirements.

Wood-like porcelain tiles have been with us for a while now, but the method of reproducing this beautiful material has been perfected in recent times. Parquet floor tiles, particularly herringbone style patterns, are making a big resurgence due to the stunning visual effect they create and low maintenance requirements.

One of the most notable trends this year is for highly decorative patterned floor tiles which offer a contemporary twist, perfect for creating a very individual look. This trend is a particular favourite with designers.

Stone look porcelain tiles are a classic choice and offer a timeless beautiful aesthetic. Increasingly we are seeing a trend towards the use of more dramatic veined stone look and marbled tiles in large formats.
