Nestled atop a cliff in the coastal town of Killybegs, Donegal, Jonathan and Claire’s home, An Cúlú, pays tribute to the surrounding natural beauty while celebrating both modern interior design and tradition. Overlooking Inver Beach and stretching down to Benbulben in Sligo, the property offers an awe-inspiring panorama of Ireland’s wild Atlantic coast. For the couple, the journey to finding this idyllic location wasn’t a short one. ‘We had been looking for a property near the sea for about 18 months,’ Claire explains. ‘We wanted something with spectacular views and within a 1.5-hour drive from home.’ After viewing numerous coastal properties across Donegal and Mayo, they instantly fell in love with the unique position of this house.
