My Favourite Room

Visual Artist Debbie Chapman shows us around the living room of her home in Palmerstown, Dublin.

We had a craft shop growing up by the sea in Wexford and I learned the skills of making and mending from my mum. My aunt sold bric-a-brac and often brought me to auctions where I developed a pretty good eye for quality. Our house was an eclectic collection of bits and bobs. We finally bought our own home at the end of 2019 and were fortunate to have a lockdown to discover what worked and what didn’t – it’s similarly eclectic!
