A Whistle-Stop Tour Of Donegal

A long-overdue visit to Donegal gave Aoife Kelly the opportunity to immerse herself in all the nature and culture the county has to offer.

Having missed the chance to visit Donegal 23 years ago for our honeymoon, I was well overdue a visit to this majestic county, so when a last minute opportunity to visit arose during the sunny weeks of June I jumped at it.  With little time to plan and under the guide of my travelling companions, Magda and Marketa, I was headed to Errigal and Glenveagh National Park. With just two nights and three days at my disposal it was a whistle-stop tour of the northern part of the county.
