Meeting the Brief

This stunning kitchen design by specialist kitchen designer Lisa Maher is part of a larger restoration project in Rathmines.

The brief from my clients was to design a modern kitchen that was sympathetic to their preference for a modern mid-century aesthetic,’ explains Co. Carlow based, highly experienced specialist kitchen designer, Lisa Maher. ‘Working closely with the client we used a restrained palette of materials and the decision was made to have no wall cabinets and instead have a shallow bulkhead and strip lights over the main kitchen units to balance the three-metre high ceiling within the overall design.’
