As a child chef Theo Randall remembers his mother’s pantry filled to the brim with an amazing array of different ingredients, mostly procured from summer holidays spent in southern France and Italy. Visits to vineyards and food markets would often mean packing various bottles and jars of the best quality olive oil, wine, cheese and other delicacies into the trailer and, once full, moving to the boot and footwells of the car.
