Radiators are increasingly inventive in style, colour and form, but as well as choosing the right model for your room, it is important not to lose sight of their purpose – to heat your home.

There are different areas to consider when you select a new radiator, ranging from the pure appearance to more practical concerns. The style of your home will play a role, as many of today’s models are not merely a practical item, but one which can reflect your own aesthetic sense as well. Traditional radiators tend to be just that – traditional, and therefore often suited to equally traditional-looking properties, where a more contemporary piece might look out of place. Similarly, a traditional item could negatively affect your efforts if working to a more modern design.
