Formerly Louden’s chemist, this Georgian-style building overlooking the harbour in Donaghadee had been derelict for ten years when owners Karen Bolleboom and her husband John purchased it in 2016. As Karen explains, ‘This was a huge project for us and it took a year to get planning permission and find our fantastic building company, Marfield Construction. Then the actual renovation took one year and we were finally able to open the doors in December 2018.’
